casper50 Posted April 21, 2016 Report Posted April 21, 2016 If anyone has any photos of body mounts put together I could use some. The manual shows what goes on each bolt but not where the rubber parts go between body and frame on the mount. It's really confusing me. Quote
James_Douglas Posted April 22, 2016 Report Posted April 22, 2016 What car? The convertibles and the wagons did NOT use any rubber. Quote

Conn47D24 Posted August 6, 2016 Report Posted August 6, 2016 Did you ever get photos of these? I could use them as well for my D24 1947 Club coupe. Usually the parts book is great but is light on this area. I have several rusted out, and most are not bolted to anything ! Quote
casper50 Posted August 6, 2016 Author Report Posted August 6, 2016 Never got any. I can take some of mine now and send them to you. Will be tomorrow most likely. 1 Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 6, 2016 Report Posted August 6, 2016 the body mounts are for the most part attached permanently to the frame with the EXCEPTION of the middle mounts...these can be of the bolt on style and are variable in placement on the frame per the body style being mounted. The rubber inserts from the top into the receiver holes of the mount and the lower part, cover disc if you will is placed on the other side of the frame mount tab/ear...follow the book direction on equal torgue value...these get little real torque...body binding and pinching will result otherwise... 1 Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 6, 2016 Report Posted August 6, 2016 as a quick check, you asked this question long ago...you got not only the torque values but a picture of them as they would go on the car.....both posted by myself as along with other insight from other posters..... http://p15-d24.com/topic/36441-body-mounts/?hl=%2Bbody+%2Bcushions#entry374697 Quote
casper50 Posted August 6, 2016 Author Report Posted August 6, 2016 l tried to go by that manual photo. Didn't give a lot of help at all. I was asking for photos from someone's car that already had them replaced so that I could get a clue. lol Quote
