bach4660 Posted July 10, 2007 Report Posted July 10, 2007 I was at a show on the weekend and an Old timer told me that the box was an option, which I knew, then he went on to say that the steering wheel, and wheels were options. He claimed that in order to make the vehicles affordable anything that could be easily transferred could be left off the purchase. I dunno was I get my leg pulled? Quote
Merle Coggins Posted July 10, 2007 Report Posted July 10, 2007 Why not make the doors and seats optional too? Sounds kinda far fetched to me. But then again, what do I know about what happened back then. Quote
MBF Posted July 10, 2007 Report Posted July 10, 2007 Look at the Bunn book. I think that gives a more historically correct listing of options by year. Mike Quote
Young Ed Posted July 10, 2007 Report Posted July 10, 2007 I'm pretty sure wheels and the steering wheel weren't optional. The bed was standard too if you ordered a pickup. However there was a cab and chassis available and a cowl and chassis available too. But these were really considered seperate models. Quote
