1940plymouth Posted March 11, 2016 Report Posted March 11, 2016 Thanks for the ride, believe it or not, no snow here at all, temp was in the 60's the past few days, a good rain yesterday to help clean the roads up. New king pins and upper control arms on the Plymouth this week. Suppose to be nice this weekend, plan on adding up the miles on the Plymouth. Thanks again Fred, Bob 2 Quote
55 Fargo Posted March 12, 2016 Author Report Posted March 12, 2016 You know, what I would like to see, is? Members on here making videos driving on the freeways of LA, Chicago, Houston,DC, or the New Jersey Turnpike, something lively compared to my old hicksville stuff..........LOL Quote

55 Fargo Posted March 13, 2016 Author Report Posted March 13, 2016 Yes the country and low traffic areas can be nice and relaxing, as well as scenic. But a lot of the Guys on here live in busy urban areas like the LA area, I think it would be cool to see some videos of an old Pilot House or a Plym or Ddoge car, bombing down the freeway, something different.. Jeff Balazs Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 My daughter Kathleen and I took the old truck to a local antique swap meet this morning about 8 or 9 miles from home. Spent more time sitting at stop lights than actually driving. You may think there is something cool here.......but I assure it just sucks. Joni Mitchell had it right......"they paved paradise and put up a parking lot". Can't wait to get out of here. Northern Arizona just sounds better and better with each passing day. Jeff 1 Quote
1940plymouth Posted March 13, 2016 Report Posted March 13, 2016 no video, but the side roads of the Catskills of NY this afternoon Quote

Jeff Jeff, while Winnipeg and the Capital region is similar to Omaha Nebraska and area, so have a lot of traffic lights, many lanes with tons of weekend shopping traffic, and a general pain in the ass. I will go into the city soon for the more urban video.....LOL Quote
Jeff Balazs Posted March 14, 2016 Report Posted March 14, 2016 Fred; Those photos look like my commute.......except that it is on surface streets in a primarily residential area. And more people are pouring in every day. There is a huge building phase going on right now. And it is mostly high density housing. And there really isn't any new roads or freeways planned. It is going to be total gridlock in a few years. Me and my old truck long for the wide open spaces and relatively empty roads of a bygone era. Can't get that here anymore. Guess I need to head to Longmire country. Jeff Quote

Niel Hoback Posted March 20, 2016 Report Posted March 20, 2016 I didn't see the scenery the first time I watched. Too busy watching Cooper. I think he's watching you in an attempt to learn to drive. Don't leave the keys where he can get at them. Quote
