Does any one know if 1951-52 Plymouth Concord 2 Door Sedan Door is the same and or will fit a '49 -'50 two door Plymouth Suburban Wagon? Thanks in advance Mike....

Not a good interchange.   My '51 business coupe had a '50 nose on it when I got it and the prior owner had to bend the door edges for the doors  to open and close.  1951-52 doors have a different contour at the front than the 1949-50, and will catch the rear fender edge.

JerseyHarold, Suntennis, Plymouthy Adams; I would like to thank you all for your responses. You also saved me a long trip to Georgia to pickup this NOS '51-'52 door.

My comment above refers to a 50 door slightly taller than a 51-52 door. Maybe a 51-52 would work on a 50 ok.

I understood and the more info I get or have gotten is all very helpful. It's still a decision that I have to make as with any other....

The major difference is where the front fender mates with the door.  The front fender line was raised where it meets with the door and thus you would have problems.

When you look at the front fenders on the 1949-50 models, the line goes straight through to the front, while the 1951-52 models have a slight slope down to the front.  And the hoods lost the vertical front edge and also sloped down to the grille.

The whole purpose of the 1951 redesign was to get rid of the brick look to the front end and get a look closer to what the competition was peddling.

Thanks for the input my '50 Suburban only has 32,000 miles on it, So I don't need the door yet. I've been picking up any NOS body parts I run across that will fit correctly in case someone runs into me. I intend to keep all my cars till the end. I have two Ford Falcons a '60 and '62. I also have a '63 Nova SS the parts are easy to pick up for that. The Falcons are not as readily available so I've been picking up those NOS body parts as well, hoods, grills, quarters etc. Thanks for all the help on the Plymouth because I know nothing body wise about them....
