  1. 1949 Coupes had no rear window trim . The headliner goes in and then the rear window gasket is the interior finish.. owned many 1949 3 window coupes and all the same

Hey Hey , long time member been away for a couple of years..got caught in the Houston floods...ok now.....looking for track width info for the 51 v wanna do a chassis floor swap ...looking at a 1973 Pontiac Grand Ville..its 126 inch wheel base....a half inch longer than the 51..   12. The u shape just makes it easy to install , uninstall , if you go to auto parts store they should have these crimp on type , or as Sharps40 says just loosen the shell and attach new wire , a bit of solder....voila....
