1950 Special Deluxe
I was offered a used motor that was supposedly rebuilt and then stored after 3000 miles. It is the 25" block with P28 23167C on the block and D267 1632386 on the head. I assume it is a Canadian engine, but I cannot find any other info other than it appears to be a 1956. I hope someone can steer me towards more info. Thanks Neil
55 Fargo
Bill Watson can asnwer your questions or Tim Kingsbury. I would venture to guess it was originally a 228, but being a rebuilt, it could have been converted to a 250 even. Any rebuilders tags on it? Plymouthy Adams
odds are if the unit was built by a commercial rebuilder..the engine identification pad is milled to remove the original number...thus making it a universal fit..look for the tag down near the lower edge of the block just above the oil pan surface
