I've always liked the Windsor engines. I just never liked the vehicles they were in. The 289 is compact and has the distributor in front, so getting it to fit may be a little easier than other brands. Lots of aftermarket support so you can build it from mild to wild. I say go for it.

Sorry shoulda clarified 6.9 diesel hahaha, im thinking this winter or summmer i will try the 289 because the truck i got is aalot of homemade stuff on it, so i figured i will make it i to a custom truck
