John Fleming Posted May 30, 2015 Report Posted May 30, 2015 I would like to replace the original 6 volt positive ground tail and brake lights on my 1948 Plymouth with brighter bulbs. Original bulbs are 1129 single filiment bulbs. If you are using and LED replacement please share your experiance ? Quote
White Spyder Posted May 30, 2015 Report Posted May 30, 2015 I got some from super bright LED. I am very pleased. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted May 30, 2015 Report Posted May 30, 2015 first off your original filament bulbs are not polarity conscious....they will work positive or negative ground...going LED will get you into the polarity scene Quote
chopt50wgn Posted May 30, 2015 Report Posted May 30, 2015 If the bulbs you are changing to LED are also turn signal bulbs, you have to change the flasher to an LED flasher. The LEDs won't work with the OEM flasher. Quote
