motorheadTX Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 I cant remove the rear brake drums on this (suspected) 1-ton 116 wheelbase pilothouse. I removed the 6 nuts retaining the axle and removed the axle. The brake drum w 6 nuts ...What do I do next. This is dramatically different from the cars and 1/2 tons models judging by the pics I have seen . What is the secret to the 1-ton? Pleas ebe very specific and or recommend a place where I can see this process. I dont want to damage anything. thanks for all your help Quote
nonstop Posted September 30, 2014 Report Posted September 30, 2014 You need to take off the spindle nut, lock washer, and second nut inside the hub. Not sure of the size of the nut besides large. 1 Quote
