Did the radiator seal come with the new staples? You are still young at 61. I'm 66 and just starting the restoration on 2 54 Royals. I will look for you at the Back to the 50's. I won't have my convertible done by them so may bring the 4dr that will be my project after I get the convertible done.

engine is 99% finished . here are a couple pics..

and Man............. this 241 hemi runs like swiss watch.

Actually runs better than the fresh hemi I had rebuilt in my green 54 royal.

worked on the grill/ hood latch today and got it all lined up.

going to be working on the grill pieces soon .. have to repair a few dings and then polish them all and install.

I have really enjoyed watching your progress. I's going to miss it when things slow down this winter and when you get the car finished. I am questioning the carb setup on the 500 pace car though. I thought all the pace cars had the 4 bbl carb. and intake on them which gave them an extra 50 hp than the standard convertible like I have.

thanks mopar

I will replace the intake with a offenhauser and a wcfb carb later on. don't know what happened to those items .

worked on all the grill bars for past two days.

go all the dings out the best I could  and polished .

 They look very nice .

now  I have to assemble the grill first before  installing  it.

That's next

I don't know how bad they were to begin with, look good now.  I do know you're getting a lot done at a faster pace than I can or most of us can.
