pflaming Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 In the top banner is an infomertial on the new minimally invasive knee prodedure. Seems my doctor has suggested I do that. Has anyone had this done or know of someone who has?: Quote
RobertKB Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 No such thing as minimally invasive knee procedure if it is a full replacement. Expect a lot of pain and physio-therapy after. My wife and my dad have had both knees replaced so I know of which I speak. In the end it is worth it if it keeps you mobile. Never the same as a good original knee. Quote
Dave72dt Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 I've had some knee work done, not a replacement though. In and out, same day. Nice pain meds, Tylenol 3 for one day, Tylenol for about three, crutches to assist walking for about a week, same physical therapy exercises I was doing before. It's not as good as it could be but it's a whole bunch better than it was before. I may have (probably) compromised the repair the day after so I'm not surprised it's not 100% and I was told of the possibility that it never would be beforehand. Quote
