1952B3b23 Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 That's an awesome truck. Please take more pictures when you get it. That looks like a pretty nice satin black paint job. -Chris Quote
pflaming Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 I wonder if the front rims are the same size as the rear. Maybe both are 15" but the rear are wider. And I wonder what the tire sizes are. That is a nice looking truck. Wonder if it was in a FIRE! 1 Quote
The Oil Soup Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Just bought this. As the creator put it I can take closer pictures if you need - soon as it gets here ... What size tires and wheels are you running? Great stance! Quote

TrampSteer Posted March 2, 2014 Report Posted March 2, 2014 The wheels have been powder coated cream and are 16's in the back, and 15's in the front wrapped in brand new Coker Firestone bias ply tires (7.50x16 rear) and (6.00x15 front) tires with the original stock stainless hubcaps. Again, I am quoting the ad. Truck isn't even here until Monday. Quote
albolton Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 (edited) I lowered my 54 by removing a leaves then recentering the steering prior to doing a full suspension swap, it looked awesome but the ride was just ok, I finally ended up taking it to a truck spring shop and having the springs re-arc'd to give me back the ride, I put some good shocks on it, but the stability still just wasnt there for me when i removed leaves...depends on how much you drive it i guess Edited March 20, 2014 by albolton Quote
ledfootslim Posted March 20, 2014 Report Posted March 20, 2014 I removed several of the rear springs (especially two massive overload springs) and added 2" blocks on the rear of my '48, and she looks fine!!!! Quote
