FMSPEED49 Posted November 5, 2006 Author Report Posted November 5, 2006 Either that or I am stupid and wasn't aware or the "sensors" on my car. Quote
greg g Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Whatsa matter???? just screw it into the manifold port for the windshield wipers, and hook it up to the radio, then you can set your idle by listening to WHOX, 020 on yer AM dial. Set the Speaker to Classic........... Quote
FMSPEED49 Posted November 5, 2006 Author Report Posted November 5, 2006 Lol, never mind the split manifold and dual exaust, i'm gonna get one of thoose, guarrenteeeeed to give u as much if not more horsepower than racing sticker on the window alone. Quote
Niel Hoback Posted November 5, 2006 Report Posted November 5, 2006 Izzat gonna work on 6 volts positive ground? If so, I guess I need one. Quote
FMSPEED49 Posted November 5, 2006 Author Report Posted November 5, 2006 I am thinking about ordering it, then giving negitive feedback saying "it doesn't fit my car like u said it would" lmao Quote
Chester Brzostowski Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 The sensor would work fine the problem would be the computer. You would need a trailer to carry the Univac behind the car. Chet... Quote
PatS.... Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 WOW!!! Over 225,000 items for sale at the same time!!! 123,000 feedback at 98.9% positive...thats amazing:eek: Quote
Guest Nile Limbaugh Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 No wonder my engine ain't been running right; the #%@&& oxygen sensor is messed up! Quote
Normspeed Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 I didn' t think my motor had one. Then I did a thorough examination of the whole setup, and... yup, I was right. Quote
Don Coatney Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Norm; I also sent the seller a message telling him he should remove the auction. No response to date. Quote
greg g Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Bob I think what you posted is the downstream unburned hydrocarbon sensor. I believe this is the O2 sensor or maybe the part of the mass air flow or manifold absolute pressure deal. but I'm quite sure the item in you picture is most effective when used behind the car...... Brad Lustig Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Others have successfully used this as an oxygen sensor/CO sensor. It does take a little more maintenance, though. Quote
