O.K. I know I have read it, but did you ever notice when you are looking for something you can't find it.

I think I read to depress and turn counter clockwise. Is that correct? Also any tricks as that approach isn't

releasing the button. Thanks for any help. tom

There are 2 types of horn button but they seem to work on the same principal. Press down and turn - looks to be clockwise from the photos that I've attached. You need to press down hard enough to clear the lugs of the holding clip which is held in place by the nut.

Thanks, Came right off  turning clockwise. Now, ..the contact on the end of the wire needs to be taken off to slip washer off in order to

remove nut holding steering wheel. Any ideas on doing that without ruining it?

At least on the cars there is a bullet connector at the other end and you pull the entire wire out of the column

But before you do that, tie a string or light wire to the end of the horn wire and pull that through too. That way you have something to pull it back in with. Otherwise if you try to fish it down through the steering shaft it can be a bear.
