I have a 1941 closed-cab weapons carrier (I know, not a Pilot-House but the cab dimensions are pretty close) that I am putting back in running order. It came with a seat in sad condition that looks to be for a WC carryall, but I am looking for something a bit more modern/comfortable. Since many of the guys on the military truck forums have a "problem" with non-original anything, I figured this would be the place to solicit some ideas. 78maverick Posted April 13, 2013 Author Report Share Posted April 13, 2013 Essentially all of the closed-cab WC's (1, 5, 12, etc) had bench seats. The seat that came with my truck had a split bench that "may" be from a carry-all. Have thought about recovering and using it, but I would have to modify the base to fit the closed-cab seat riser.
