JIPJOBXX Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 Here is a photo of 1960 Pontiact Convertable that I owned and boy this car today would be well worth over 50,000 dollars but no ust of crying over spilt milk and its history! Notice for you old timmers the Bruce slicks on the rear end This car was a rare bird as it had from the factory three on the tree! What a car and the women just loved it! Oh yes great for sneaking friends into the drive in theathers as it had a huge truck! 1 Quote
pflaming Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 JIP, the younguns on this forum don't know about 'buck a car' night. Must have been fun. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted March 6, 2013 Report Posted March 6, 2013 Back in the 70s I had a 60 Bonneville convert.....Firethorn Red.....with the 3 tone leather interior. It was an automatic on the column, had bucket seats but was no console between them. A really nice car. I think it sold it for 2500 after driving it a few years......had a rebuilt 389 put in it and a new top on it. It got down to whether to keep it or the 67 Ford Galaxie 500 XL yellow/black convert we also had. X wife drove the Ford daily to work so we kept it.....sold the Poncho. Would be nice to have the old Pontiac back......but that's how it goes. 1 Quote
