pflaming Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 I've been studying this picture. I put it on my screensaver so I could get a good look. What all did the creator of this engine do? It is one of the more sophisticatd modified flat heads I've seen. Hat's off to that person. Quote
40plyrod Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 I think that belongs to moose here on the forum. Quote
Don Coatney Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 (edited) That engine was built by forum member Bloodyknuckles. I have driven that car. http://mopar.pairserver.com/p15d24ph_forum/index.php?/user/220-bloodyknuckles/ Edited January 30, 2013 by Don Coatney Quote
moose Posted January 30, 2013 Report Posted January 30, 2013 I think that belongs to moose here on the forum. Not my engine. I built the manifold, but all the credit for the good looks goes to Bloody Knuckles. Quote

It's my understanding that Ron(BloodyKnuckles) puts a lot of miles on that car. He keeps it clean. Good stuff. Quote

55 Fargo Posted February 1, 2013 Report Posted February 1, 2013 Thanx Moose, hey how much more jam do yall get with a set of headers and double or triple carbs. I would like to do this in my 55 Fargo pickup with 251 engine, it runs well, has good oil pressure, but have not idea how many miles, and it does not use oil... Quote
Dutchman Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 Here's mine, done in the early '90's in a welding class in college. Hey Moose.. Those look like Bing Carbs, Just like on my BMW R 75/5. Sweet set-up! Quote

Scruffy49 Posted February 4, 2013 Report Posted February 4, 2013 XS750 or XS850 carbs? Or all custom linkage? Neat trick. I've though about adapting efi to my spare project engine ($125 56 or 57 230) but decided it was way too much like work for a truck that mostly serves as a farm stand and storage cabinet for the last 39 years...
