T120 Posted December 23, 2012 Report Posted December 23, 2012 (edited) I saw this '33 Dodge on a visit to Parksville,B.C. going back at least 12 years. It caught my attention,(I was impressed with both the car and the detailed flathead),coincidentally I found this video on youtube. Also caught the attention of the folks filming "My Classic Car" at some time. The Dodge appears at 17:40 in this episode. Scruffy49 Posted December 24, 2012 Report Posted December 24, 2012 That's about as good as it gets. I hope my 230 turns out that nice. Quote
T120 Posted December 24, 2012 Author Report Posted December 24, 2012 Thinking back,it was probably the summer of 1997 when I looked at this car.The engine attracted my attention as much as the overall car. Up until then,It had been years since I had seen a modified flathead six at a show and that together with an Edmunds intake and headers.I had an Edmunds intake on a car I owned back in the sixties and that caught my eye right away. Since then I've been fortunate to find an Edmunds intake for a long block and plan to install it on my Plymouth. Although not too common,it's nice to see these flathead sixes appearing at shows fitted with speed equipment... Quote
