Name That Car

Found this picture of my family members (my Dad, his first wife and my oldest sister and brother) and I was wondering about the car. My guess is a 41 Plymouth Special Deluxe 2 door sedan. The photo was taken in October of 52.

the second line of stainless below the glass is a curve..the speed line on the fender are of the era

I believe '41 Plymouth is correct. Same trim is shown on a '41 I owned and have since sold. It originally had, but lost, the stainless trim on the edge of the running board like the car pictured has.

I looked at a few pictures of the 41 and failed to see the second line of trim..I knew the speed lines looked correct..the extra trim really sets the car off nicely..as does the stainless around the door and quarter glass..an item not used to seeing on the Plymouth but common to the bigger triplett sisters

Trim is found on the Special Deluxe.....I would say 41 for sure. Fender scallops and running boards are correct..

I'll echo she's a 41....single high wheel opening curve with the usual 41 lower triple lines on the bottom of the fender side. 40's have dual high curved lines with no lower lines.

So a 41 but not a Special Deluxe? I was going by the trim rings thinking they would only come on a Special Deluxe.
