  1. So a 41 but not a Special Deluxe? I was going by the trim rings thinking they would only come on a Special Deluxe.
  2. Found this picture of my family members (my Dad, his first wife and my oldest sister and brother) and I was wondering about the car. My guess is a 41 Plymouth Special Deluxe 2 door sedan. The photo was taken in October of 52.
  3. Mechanically these cars are rock solid and easy to work on and find parts. With 100k the engine may be tired. Brakes are always an issue but not so much due to the design but age. Rust, if any, will be in the front corners of the floor boards, rockers, and around the lower trunk opening. Trim can be tough but this is a fairly common car. The rear fender trim is the hardest, I know because I'm still looking for a rr fender trim for my 47 DeSoto. I own a 49 Coronet and drove it as my daily driver for years. Well built car to say the least.
