According to my Canadian parts book the radiator is the same from '41-'48 for the Plymouth and Dodge. However, best to measure, if you can, before buying or installing.

Hopefully some guru will have an answer for me. Will a radiator from a 47 to 49 Plymouth fit into my 41?

I looked up inmy Hollander Interchnage manual

Plymouth 1941 is part number 905336 and Ply 42-48 is # 947450

So since they do not state that these could intechange i would not think the 42-48 will be a direct matchup.

But as someone else stated you can take measurements and it might be close or it also could just be the mounting holes might be in a different spot onthe flange.

BUT 41-48 Dodge will interchange between the dodges only Part # 973695.

I have a 39 Desoto so this is the best that I can provide for you.

Variables.................first vs. second series 1949 models & US vs. CDN cars!

Your Canadian built Plymouth, if equiped with a long block motor 25" has different mounting tabs as the rad sits two inches further forward in the car.

In 1949 there were two series. First series were the 46 - 48 vehicles that extended partially into the 1949 model year.

2nd series 49's were released later and were completely new models.

So the application for swapping 1949 Plymouth's really depends on the the series.

As already stated, measure measure measure, and be ready to make some modification for a US rad into a Canadian car!
