Young Ed Posted October 7, 2012 Report Posted October 7, 2012 I was only able to catch the first piece of the 3 day event but managed to see a pretty incredible private collection. First shows the wall surrounding about half of the guys house. The site is a former granite quarry. The old mine is now a private lake for his house and one other. Playing around with the effects on my cell phone camera I took these. Quote
Young Ed Posted October 7, 2012 Author Report Posted October 7, 2012 Now onto the guys garages. He had a smaller bay on one end a large bay with probably 40 cars on the other with a workshop in the middle that probably could hold 6 cars. Here's the pictures from the smaller storage bay Quote
Young Ed Posted October 7, 2012 Author Report Posted October 7, 2012 The work shop. This first one I should have taken a picture of the inside. It had individual seats. The pass seat was rear facing! check out the axles Quote
Young Ed Posted October 7, 2012 Author Report Posted October 7, 2012 Now the storage bay. This will take a few posts! Quote

Young Ed Posted October 7, 2012 Author Report Posted October 7, 2012 And if you haven't noticed already he had a few signs on the walls. Took a few pictures of those too. Quote

Anyway its lucky to still be around as it was in a barn fire. The paint that is missing from the fenders is blistered off from heat. The steering wheel was pretty much melted away too. The heat didnt seem to have wrecked the metal just the paint luckily enough. i also really like that supercharged cord and graham sedan. thanks for sharing.wally The Cord is all original but not operational. He said it would cost more to restore than its worth so it just sits there I guess. If that were mine I'd have to atleast do the engine brakes and glass to get it back on the road. Quote
