RobertKB Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 No one got it as there were no bids which is surprising given its reasonable starting price. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 14, 2012 Report Posted August 14, 2012 (edited) Looks like it went for $19.95.........ohhh......just read note above and it didn't even sell.......that's surprising that some dealer didn't buy it cheap and offer to sell for a couple million or so. Roadkingcoupe Posted August 16, 2012 Report Posted August 16, 2012 wierd auction i wonder who nabbed it. i would like one of those things. next time i guess. "This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available" Translation - buyer accepted an offer, sold it outside of eBay and ended the auction early. Assumption - the buyer accepted an offer thought to be good and missed out on $$$'s. Quote
Desotodav Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Can anyone shed some light as to which models had the Mopar fire extinguishers were installed in, and whether they were used in trucks as well? Desotodav Quote
greg g Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 (edited) They were dealer sold/ installed accessories. They were also available in the after market from places like western Auto, Sears, Montgomery Wards and even some gas stations. That was a standard readily available extinguisher they were branded for may applications Mopar Ford GM Chris Craft, Century, Gar Wood, and by the maker. I believe this degign is a Pyrene. The lableing was a screen printed thin brass applique applied to a stock piece depending on the market. Kinda like the Unity forlamps and spot lights that have the MOPAR FORD Chevrolet labled screwed on Crown detail. http://www.vintagefe.com/home.html Edited January 25, 2013 by greg g Quote
