OT Strange sighting today

I had to jump on the NY Thruway to get to a meeting this AM. At the toll booth at the exit lined up in a row were 4 pickups with trailers. On the trailers were 4 49-51 Ford Woodies, or at least the metal sketetons thereof.

Don't know where they came from or where they were going but looks like sombody bought a more complicated kit than I got.

Sounds like a woodworkers delight.....or nightmare.

They sure are neat if done up well.
