1951 plymouth, she's a diamond in the rough, but rock solid, mostly original, runs and drives, and has a pretty cool oldskool tuck and roll interior in very good shape, even the carpet looks new

very nice..the arrival of the 51 hardtop coupe was on last day of March in 1951...known as the Cranbrook Belvedere..it became more popular in he 52 model years I read as the introduction of better/more two tone colors were made available..

you gonna keep this one?

I personally like the 51/52 series car..well the grille is less than fantastic for sure..they grow on you a bit..I like them due to the last year for detachable rear fender and split windshield, the end of an era so to speak..also very few of these seem to prowl the neighborhood so are unique for that reason..still somwhat available in "parts car" form for a reasonable cost..and the interchange of mechanics is as long as your arm..

I had a '50 plymouth, and remember driving a '51. It seemed to drive MUCH better than my 50. I like the lower wider hood and this hard top. I envy you. Have fun and keep us posted.

Lenses for the lights may prove to be an ebay item unless you can

catch an individual with such things.

Any swap meets coming up in your area?

cant figure out what to do, paint her black with cragars, and do the oldskool hotrod look, or a nice 2 tone candy purple and cream, skirts lancer caps, and gangster whites, interior is cream and bugandy, so not many color choices, red, black white or purple, or maybe flat black, straight axle, and oldskool slots, how silly would this giant beast look as a gasser ?

easy there tim, i was just kidding about the gasser, she's way to big and odd shaped to be a gasser, look how silly the one in the pic looks, it aint no business coupe for sure, no i'm going candy grape and off white with skirts wide whites, and a nice oldskool lace job on the white top very light metalic grape, almost ghost flame like
