copper core spark plug wire part number

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone has purchased a set of copper core spark plug wires for thier car recently from napa. I am looking for a set for my 48 plymouth seeing as how I still have points. Most all the ignition parts have been replaced and I want to eliminate the wires as a possible problem. Has anyone maybe found a set that can be cut down? You wouldn't happen to have a part number for them would you?

Go to tractor supply or Farm & Fleet. This set cost about fifteen bucks a few years back.

Maybe 15 years ago I purchased a reel of copper core cloth covered spark plug wire. Still working off that same reel and have a few more years worth of tune ups left on it.

I don't remember who I purchased it from but it looks like YnZ's carries it: http://www.ynzyesterdaysparts.com/index.php?act=viewCat&catId=32 I'd be surprised if you couldn't get the same or similar stuff from other vendors.

I buy the boots and end pieces from my local auto supply when I buy the rotor, cap, condenser and points.

I bought these off ebay. They went in real well, and already cut to fit. The ad says cloth, but it is plastic sheath.

On a side note, I originally bought the NAPA ones. They are blue and they need to be cut down.

Thanks fellas! I think I'll go the TSC route and see how they work. I have one close by and probably less hassle.

Installed the same set Don recommends a Couple weeks ago. Gotta love a good value. Quality was decent too.

I used the plug wires from TSC today and they worked out great! $20 is reasonable for them also. Thanks for the tip Don!
