greg g Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 The early May show hosted by the Hudson Valley AACA will be The first weekend of MAY http://rhinebeckcarshow.com/ Looking to go as supposidly they are regognizing Plymouth vehicles with a special display area for the marque. The classic show is Sunday, the swap meet starts on friday, hot tods and customs are featured Sat. More than a month to make plans to attend. Anybody????? Quote
JerseyHarold Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 With both kids in school (and no AP exams to worry about...they always seemed to be the Monday after Rhinebeck) my wife and I are planning to attend. In the past, we've come up late Saturday, stayed in a motel, and then arrived to the show at about 10:00 AM Sunday. We've done the round-trip and show in one day also, but as time marches on the motel makes more sense. Will the Plymouth tribute be only one day or last for the whole event? Quote
1940plymouth Posted March 30, 2012 Report Posted March 30, 2012 I registared the Plymouth, I plan on being there Sunday if the old thing holds up:) Quote
Mark D Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 Provided the weather is good and Ruby is running, I'll give it a go. Spent the evening reassembling... Fingers crossed. Quote
Jim Yergin Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 Greg, Are we still on for the May 19 Jalopy Showdown in York Springs, PA? Just finished installing my rebuilt clutch and my car is ready to go. Besides May 19 is national "Drive Your Woodie Day" so I need to be out on the road. Jim Yergin Quote
greg g Posted April 1, 2012 Author Report Posted April 1, 2012 might could be interested in that. Have you looked into any Arrangments??? You sleeping in the woody? Perhaps just perhaps, the Studie might be ready to tow the popup.... Have you been i contact with Chet or Rodney this spring? they have been conspicuous by their absence. Quote
greg g Posted April 5, 2012 Author Report Posted April 5, 2012 OK so we have had 155 reads and 5 replies. So I'm moving this back up top. Did notice that they are requiring preregistration by April 25th or so. Even if your car is ot ready for prime time, either mechanically or cosmetically, It's a great show and good swap meet. Hope to see more than just the ususal suspects. Quote
Mark D Posted April 5, 2012 Report Posted April 5, 2012 Greg & Bob D - Are you guys registered for Sat & Sun? I just downloaded the registration form, seems like the classics are Sunday and the ORd & Customs are Saturday. If I'm headed out that way, I'd likely head out early morning, and be back home again that evening. Rhinebeck wasn't a bad drive, 170 miles from home - about 3.5 hours driving the back roads. Quote

Mark D Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 Sent a note to the organizater to ask about the special section that Greg mentioned. Indeed they will have a pre'54 section. See you at the show! [... Hi Mark, We do have a 4-6 Cylinder Plymouth class (to 1954). Earl Buton (Founder of the Plymouth Owner's Club) is a member of one of the clubs that host our show. Sunday is the correct day for your car. You can find more information and a registration form on our website www.rhinebeckcarshow.com. You can save $5 and get in the field faster if you preregister.
