Hey folks.

I hope that you all do not mind if I may bend the rules a tad bit, and put this request on this page, and not the classified page. If this is not acceptable, please advise, and I will remove it. I just wanted to get this word out quicker, since I must move these seats pretty quickly. Thanks.

I need to move out, an original front, and rear seat for/from an original, P-15 Plymouth, four door sedan. I have had these seats in my rodent free garage for many years, and quite frankly, need to get them to a home so that I can use the space for a new coming car in the Spring. They sport the original, MoPar pin striped mohair fabric, that really is in quite good shape! Seat frames and hardware all all there too. I'm in Pennsylvania, just above Pittsburgh. Pick-up would be the best method of transportation, because I believe shipping would be pretty expensive.

I'm open for ideas though. These are really quite nice seats. Any offer will be considered. I would hate to have to junk them!

Thanks again guys.

Well, you know how it goes... I took quite a few photos before I wrapped them for storage, and do you think I can now find them!

Looks as if I will have to drag them out, and take some new ones here hopefully, over this weekend.

Hmmm I got a friend in Pittsburgh, I could probably store them at his place... Good reason for a road trip.. Love to see photos...

Hi All.

Thanks to all that replied to this post, and to those that sent P.M.'s.

I was able this morning to unwrap these seats, and take about 20 photos of them. ( I love the smell of Mohair in the morning!!!:D)

They are as I stored them some 20 years ago, and the fellow that had them before me for over 10 years. No, not perfect, but as you will see pretty darn nice!!! The biggest issue with them looks to be in the red, fake like leather material that is on the lower section of the bottom of the back seat. That stuff got kinda brittle over the past 65 years. It is still there, for a pattern though.

I took some photos of the original tags, still in place from the day they were made, way back on 8-28-1947 !!!

The seats will come with all the seat rails and mounting frames. The seat adjusting cables and spring are all there, and in fine working condition. Even the Ash Receiver, on the back of the front seat is 100% and sports the original knob and woodgrained paint. All you will need is a good cleaning (a bit dusty, even though they were wrapped tight), and the mounting bolts. I can not seem to locate them. In other words, they are "Good to go!"

I will place (I hope) a few photos on this page. As I said, I have I think 17 of them, and will send these directly to anyone that P. M.'s me for them. Maybe, one of you computer "guru's " would be so kind as to offer to list them on this page? I do not have a URL (I think that is what it is called) to be able to post these in a proper fashion.

Thanks again for allowing me to post in this section of the forum. I appreciate it.

Cheers!

The other photos are kinda the same as the ones now attached...I would still be happy to post them if you guys feel they should be.

BTW. The lower cushion, on the front seat (where your butt would sit) is in GREAT shape. I forgot how nice it was. I'll try to attach a photo of this part of the seat below.

Thanks again for your interests!

Hope to find these a good home.

I really do not know what to ask for these seats. I paid $100.00 for them, I think, so many years ago when I still had my P-15...

Looking for reasonable offers.

Thanks.

Thanks for the pics. Things like this are great for future reference on just

how the original upholstry was. I copied the pictures to my Photobucket

album to save them. I did a cut and paste to the place where you put pics

on the album, but did have to add ".jpg" to the end of the url for it to work.
