DCurrent Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Anyone know if those trim strips on the sides of the rear fenders factory? They look like they belong. Darren Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 the chrome strip on the rear fender were an item that dealers would install to give the car a classier look..helped to promote dealership sales..they are actually D24C trim and retrofitted to the Plymouth...the trim is quite heavy and has a metal mounting strip that attaches to the outer staniless shell..the innder strip is prone to rust and loss of mounting stud over the years if youfind them used..not to fear..not really a needed item and the inner strip can be removed and improvised mounts made/adapter for mounting. BobT-47P15 Posted March 4, 2012 Report Posted March 4, 2012 Here's a pic of those strips.......... Does it look like those skirts fit inside the wheel opening?? Looks like someone added some fender welting along the rear edge of the front fenders. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 odds are those are dummy spots but in many places it will get you pulled nonetheless..it was always told to me by law enforcemnt (well, two states I operated in) said that it is illegal for the lenses of these aux light to point forward at any time except for when actual in use and then them events are restricted..usually reserved for very rural areas seeking roads/driveways etc..and bonifide emergencies where main lighting has failed..go anywhere sk anyone and you are sure to get another answer...I cannot seem to find a clearing house on these laws..maybe SEMA may have the answer Quote
Roadkingcoupe Posted March 5, 2012 Report Posted March 5, 2012 If the car is for sale in Brazillian currency for 145,0000 (real) the conversion to USD = $82,770 USD plus shipping! Quote

Thanks for the reply, I kinda like them. They help break the fender up with the skirts in all. Darren Quote
