1940plymouth Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 Out and about in the Plymouth yesterday, just wanted to share Quote
1940plymouth Posted November 8, 2011 Author Report Posted November 8, 2011 (edited) Niel, Sunday Cooper wasn't acting like his normal self, good appetite, no problems going to the bathroom, but he would yelp when close to his neck, and just wanted to snuggle and rest, so he stayed home when I went for a ride. We took him to the vet yesterday afternoon, all his vital signs are good, but his white blood count was low. The vet said that he was fighting an infection and had a stiff neck, so now we have two meds to give him every 12 hours. There is a good improvement in his actions this morning, he seems to be more like the Cooper we love. The vet said that if there isn't any improvement in 24 hours she wanted to see him again, otherwise we take Cooper back in two weeks for a check up We are also to use a harness and not a collar when we take him outside. I do use a harness when him and I walk our mile everyday, but that is the only time Edited November 8, 2011 by '40Plymouth Quote
Desotodav Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 Great photos, but just something missing without Cooper in them. I wish him a speedy recovery. Desotodav Quote
Robert Horne Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 Bob, the scenery still looks very nice in your area of the country. Here in Va., mostly all the different colors have faded. Still have some trees with red leaves. Hope Cooper is well soon. Quote
John Reddie Posted November 8, 2011 Report Posted November 8, 2011 Hey Bob, Your area is God's country for sure:). Beautiful rural back roads. Hopefully, Cooper is getting better quickly. John R Quote

Andydodge Posted November 9, 2011 Report Posted November 9, 2011 Bob my giddays from downunder to Cooper also.......its funny how your scenery is changing compared to ours down here.........most of the trees around here are evergreens such as gums & eucalyptus which whilst drop leaves constantly are always green year round.......its easy to spot any imported trees by thier lack of leaves in winter........lol........anyway nice to see you back touring around......regards, andyd Quote
1940plymouth Posted November 9, 2011 Author Report Posted November 9, 2011 Being that Cooper is feeling much better today, we went for a ride, he watched where we were going then layed down and put his head on my lap and feel asleep.. I wanted to get a photo of him sleeping but was unable to get a good angle to do so while driving Thanks again for all the well wishes for Cooper, it is greatly appreciated Quote
