Young Ed
Due to us hosting a national meet we had an abbreviated fall tour this year. Normally 3 days we cut back to 2 with today being a BBQ at my parents cabin to celebrate 40 years of the club. Started out at a restored fort/trading post near Danbury Wi called Folle Avoine which the guide said translated roughly to stupid wheat. Apparently the wild rice in the area was thought stupid by the French traders. http://theforts.org/ And the plymouths in the parking lot Edited October 3, 2011 by Young Ed
Young Ed
After lunch we went to visit a guys collection. We had tried to visit before but he wasn't home. It was in this guys outdoor storage area that my parents finally noticed my now wife was wearing an engagement ring. Going back to see the rest of the collection was well worth it!!! Rodney you would have been in Stude heaven!!!!!

Young Ed
Probably the rarest of the guys collection but in sad shape. I'll let you guys name this one on your own.
Young Ed
Wouldn't be a complete tour for me without a 55 dodge. This one happened to be a La Femme

Young Ed
This one was bought new by I belive he said his great grandfather. His grandfather was driving it at a pretty young age and couldnt reach the pedals well and crashed into a thresher removing the center grill bar in the process. Young Ed
Rest of the pics here. Lots more pics of cool stuff mostly of the guy with all the studes and tractors. I have a video of him running a Rumley oilpull tractor that I still need to upload. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v172/dodgepu1946/Plymouth%20club/Spooner%20WI%20fall%20tour%202011/?start=all
DLK
Ed I fully intended to join you but my Dodge was starting to sputter Sat morn when I got to Rush City on old Hwy 61 so I decided to turn back with a pass through Kost Dam Park in North Branch. It's looking like 2012 I will need to face an overhaul if I want to take 200+ mile trips with my car. The smoking issue just seems to get worse. Don Coatney
Yes but there's more to it than that. Looks like a 1951 Frazer Manhattan the last American built 4 door convertable until Lincoln did so in 1961.
