Lou Earle Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 Redoing a 54 plym and the fiber piece(plenieum??) between the front heater core at the grille and the fan on the fire wall is shot-anyone got any ideas where I can get one? thanks Lou Quote
TodFitch Posted September 13, 2011 Report Posted September 13, 2011 I think Paul Taylor makes them for at least some years and models. It would be worth checking with him. Paul Taylor 125 Painted Sky Ln. Arroyo Grande, CA 93420 email: pwjitaylor (at) msn (dot) com Quote

Plymouthy Adams Posted September 14, 2011 Report Posted September 14, 2011 (edited) Lou...they can be made fairly easily out of a cut down gallon paint can and some light sheetmetal..you are quite welcome to inspect the one I made for the 54 at the house..other than fear of rusting out..its real solid..all original hardware from the fiber model transfers to the steel..painted black with POR15 in and out..even the fear of rust should be no issue update..located a picture taken during fabrication.. 48mirage Posted September 23, 2011 Report Posted September 23, 2011 +1 If you've got enough to work with a little fiberglass and black spray paint goes a long way. Quote
