oldodge41 Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 In todays marketing world they would just use a vinyl wrap to get that effect. That is a cool car. Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 The old plexiglass Pontiac is cool........... Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 (edited) Then there are the stainless steel Ford products. Or the 1954 Ford plexiglass display hood........... Edited July 8, 2011 by BobT-47P15 Quote
Dan Hiebert Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 The AACA Museum in Hershey, PA has one each of the stainless steel Lincolns and T-birds on display. Quote
Uncle-Pekka Posted July 8, 2011 Report Posted July 8, 2011 Never knew there would be anything like this. Seen scale models and cut away cars, but functional 1:1 real transparent car build 1940 - WOW! Thanks for sharing! Quote
Flatie46 Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 I saw a glass hood for an early hemi Dodge when I went to the Charlotte swap meet. The guy told me they put 'em on the one in the showroom to display the engine and when the car was bought the original hood was put back on the car. Quote
