greg g
If any one is needing one, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Plymouth-Coupe-1941-1942-1943-1944-Side-Mount-Antenna-/320718607722?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4aac51956a
RobertKB
Thanks for the heads up, Greg. I have been looking for one of those as I had the regular top of the cowl mount antenna hole filled when I had my car painted. I have wanted a side cowl mount antenna for a long time. It is just the thought of drilling the two holes that scares me! Anyone have any advice on this?
greg g
They usually come with a template. Lay out, masking tape the hole location center punch and drill it, then remove the tape, and mount.
Scruffy49
LMC truck has those all the time. So do Freightliner dealers, they came stock on FLD series and some Columbias. Can often find the same or quite similar at Pep Boys. In case anyone wants one without the E-bay headaches.
BobT-47P15
As was said, those style antennas aren't all that hard to find. I prefer the cowl top original type (on the curve) since those that mount on the side really go with older model cars. But, to each his own.
