Have a question........I am looking at bidding on a 1941 Plymouth Lower Radiator Dust Shield thats been listed on ebay......the guy says he won't do international shipping..........I've sent him a nice "please reconsider" message, however he may not come to the party, which is his perogerative..........if he won't do international shipping is there anyone on the Forum who would consider having this sent to them and then forwarding it on to me........am not looking for a freebie or lovejob, I am more than happy to pay, just want the part.........lol........I'd happily consider a rusty old part if you have it also.........and I also still need the panel that fits in front of the radiator at the top that has the 2 holes for the horns........don't want the horns, just the panel that goes betweeen the radiator and the hood holddown thing(lol)...........anyway, thanks Andy Douglas

There is a local auto wreckers who supplies muscle car parts to a business in Australia...sorry I don't know who or where...the point is he handles a few old 40's and 50's cars and alot of mid 60's-mid 70's Mopars (and others) and has a regular container to OZ.

This won't help you Andy but anyone else in OZ looking for parts may want to check here. If they have it, the shipping will not be a problem although there may be a wait.

It's called Heavy Metal, in Trochu, Alberta, Canada (pronounced Tro_shoe)

Just checked the depth and it appears that I have won the dust shield........YES!!!!!!.......and it now appears that the guy WILL ship international........have just sent him an email to confirm this change of heart........lol........so I await his reply and it would seem I won't be needing help to have it shipped to Oz......we await his reply....andyd

Rock, the problem is that 1941 Plymouths or indeed any 1941 cars are quite rare in Oz, apart from my coupe I know of only one other 1941 Plymouth in Oz and thats 1200 miles away in Melbourne Victoria, so its very difficult to compare cars or even see another to check what fits, etc all I knew was that there should be something there.........lol..........now all I gotta get is the upper piece that the horns fit into......I will probably just make a piece outa stainless/alloy sheet for this piece.........thanks again guys for all the offers of help, this is what makes this forum so great, regards, Andy Douglas
