All this talk about radios got me wondering what model is in my 52' B3B.

I've attached some pics and its a MoPar Model 606.

Is this correct? It seems to fit just fine....

I have no idea if it is original since the PO had taken much of the truck apart and then lost the initiative to put it back together again...

The cheaper 6 tube radio from a 1951 or 2 Plymouth.

Is it a perfect fit in the factory dash cutout? Or, was it installed by cutting into a dashboard that was not cut out to begin with?

They fit right into the factory cutout on the truck dashes too. I think this is the one I gave Paul Flamming one of these a couple of years ago just to fill the hole in his dash. It's also a 2 part radio like the 610 or! 611-T.

Reg..aren't them el-fordo knobs

Probably so Tim. They were on the radio when I got it and I thought they looked vaguely familiar but from a different family.
