RobertKB Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 Does Daddy-O know too? That was a question from Charlie Brown to the English teacher.... Who walks in the classroom, cool and slow Who calls the English teacher, Daddy-O Charlie Brown, Charlie Brown He's a clown, that Charlie Brown He's gonna get caught Just you wait and see (Why's everybody always pickin' on me) Teachers, especially junior high teachers, don't get mad........they get even! I know because I was one for 31 years. "Cool and slow".......maybe for a few seconds. A little well-placed sarcasm would have cut him down to size in two seconds. I know, I know, you shouldn't use sarcasm in the classroom. You shouldn't speed either. It's all a matter of time and place. Quote
Don Coatney Posted April 16, 2011 Report Posted April 16, 2011 slang...fore runner to the new expression OMG! egads, (OMG) I cannot believe you did not know that...! Then what about "Get out of town" or "Get out of Dodge"? Or another on my dislike list "Ay yaa yaa yaa yaa" made famous by Desi Ball. Thats what I'am talking about. It is interesting that expressions such as these "like" run there course but some people "like" never give them up said with my best bimbo accent.... Quote
