Hey all, today it's mid 50s, still snow and ice in the ditches and bushes, just got back from Winnipeg, and had to go for a ride in the 47.

Re-instated my auto insurance from storage, and went for a 15 mile drive, some highway, some gravel, just a quick ride for now.

The car ran well, but the front end still needs to be rebuilt at some point, but it ran well, not sued to an old Mopar on the highway after several months.

Here are a few pics at the corner of Fillmore and Meadowdale roads.

PS found this feathery Guy on the side of the road today, roosting in a tree...

Did a quick 150 today, visited a fellow with a 53 Desoto, gave him a ride in the Plmouth let him have a spin. Said he hopes the deSoto runs and drives half as well. Hopefully it will. We are talking about organizing a car show to go along with a vintage air craft fly in.

He lives up by Lake Delta NE of Rome NY, had a nice visit and very nice drive.

Took a couple pics the dam at the end of the lake, and an old Wrought Iron bridge over the out let. Delta Lake was built to regulate the water level of the Erie Canal. The concrete in the Dam has been replaced a time or two but ther are still some large lime stone blocks of the anchor endsthat look to be from the original constructions. Didn't find a date on the bridge but I would guess its from the late to mid 20's

Thanks Greg

Have you ever taken the Plymouth to Wampsville?

When we still lived in Madison County, we took the Plymouth up there in Sept of '91

Nice pics of the Chrysler. Looks like a bald eagle in the tree.

Yep I have been a few times, not the last 3 or 4 years though, you need to pre register to get in the classified area. It needs to be in by july for the Sept show, I guess I don;t want to commit that far in advance.

Here are some pics of my evening drive, went about 30 miles mostly on a small 2 lane Hwy.

At 1 point some Yahoo wanted to pass me with his ATV, but I blew the doors of of it.

The old brick building is the Selkirk Mental Institution, (whee the Greyhound Bus killer is kept).

A pic of the newest Tim Hortons in Selkirk, with Canadian Tire store in the background.

Car ran great but gets a little harder to handle over 60 mph.

Next 4 pics, BTW the price of regular gas is now $1.21 per litre or $4.63 per gallon, so my cruises will not be as many as long as this fuel keeps rising because of greedy oil companies taking advantage of the middle east difficulties.

Thanks for more photos, always good to see the surrounding area of where everyone lives.

I have often thought that with the price of gas, I wouldn't drive as much, but being that the season is a short one, I plan on driving the "Wayback Machine" as much as possible.

Keep putting the miles on the Chysler and keep posting photos,

Bob

We have a bridge close to the one like Greg took a photo of yesterday about 15 miles east of here, so Patty, Cooper and I went for a ride to try to duplicate Greg's Photo, wasn't able to per-say. We ended up with just under 30 miles of riding around, here are some photos. Hopefully you'll be able to see the snow fence in the last photo

With temps in the 70's here in the Catskills, Cooper asked if we could go for a ride in the "Wayback Machine" naturally I said yes, so off we went. Just a ride up in the mountains. There were a couple of places that would have made some great photos, but didn't dare stop as they were on sharp curves, but here is what I did take

Putting around in the Schawangunks, can be hazardous to your health. You have to be aware of Falling Rock Climbers............

Has the Esopus flooded this spring?
