Certainly looks like it. Good price if someone needs one.

Would be interesting if it still has the original wheels. They are sometimes sought after. Wonder if they're 15"ers or 16"ers. And the front bumper looks OK too.

There you go Ed. A start for your "late model" truck. :D

Merle I could possibly help part it out if the WI group needs parts. Not quite enough left to start another truck with it.

Every project has to start somewhere Ed. ;)

Acrually, I don't know that there's much there that I need. I had thoughts about altering a front bumper to work at the rear, but I don't know that it's worth the effort to get that one down here. The one on my parts truck has some HD guards welded to it. It's a hack job and pretty much ruined it for me.

Merle I've already got a 40 plymouth thats easily that much of a project. I do need a front bumper for it too. Otherwise I may just use the 49 plymouth car bumpers I have sitting around.

First to call, and they said come and get it.

Little problem with finding the address but I'll deal with that later.

Seems that these folks bought this place and this frame was left on the property. they just want rid of it.

I want the Bumper and perhaps I have a home for the wheels.

Dennis if you need help getting it I can. If its in Fridley its right down the road from me. I knew someone on here might need it!

I have the frame at home and the bumper is now in my garage. Just have a day or two to pick parts off then it has to go.

The serial number was 83,379,534 or a 116 WB 1948 Dodge built in Detroit

Ed, you may want to call to see if these front fenders are available, three for the left side of a 40 something mopar.

Thanks for the tip

Dennis glad to help. I didn't need it and wanted it to go to a good home. Hope you are stripping it clean before sending it away. That green fender looks like a 40 ply. Not sure about the other two.

As near as I could tell, they are vintage wheels with tube type tires on them.

I just had to fill a couple with air and it was ready to roll.

I was hoping for 16" wheels because I have a son with a trailer that could use my left over 6 ply tires.

The frame is now living at French Lake Auto Parts.

I attempted to remove the steering gear but couldn't break any part loose so I said goodbye to the whole works minus the bumper and brackets.

Only item that I'm missing is the license plate bracket.
