this engine has come up on here many times, just search dual exhaust. that exhaust is kinda a homemade modification, as it is upside-down in the picture. they are normally stack with updraft carb.

No it is not, it is an industrial engine IND, oilfields, pumps, generators..etc. That exhaust is just as mother mopar wanted it.

It fits what ever application it was ordered for.

On those industrial engines, often times the exhaust pipe stuck up and

out to the side as opposed to a car or truck where it went down and

to the rear. Hence manifold outlets in different places.

i am aware it is an industrial engine, but take a closer look at the bolt-up for the manifold. i somehow think that is NOT factory

For industrial applications I bet they put the output on either end depending on where it fit and then blanked off the other one. Certainly a lot different looking then the car/truck ones but I doubt homemade.
