Devendra Posted December 15, 2010 Report Posted December 15, 2010 Hi, I am restoring a '48 D24, 4 dr sedan in India. While most of the tinkering is now over, I need to make new exhaust box and pipes.Just wondering if anybody has the shape and size of the same as to get remade? Please let know. Cheers Dev Quote
greg g Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 Guess we need a bit more information. Are you speeking of the manifold connected directly to the engine block or the pipes and muffler. If you are looking for pipes and muffler, most of us here in the US just take our cars to a exhaust shop and have new pipes bent as needed for what ever muffler you would like to install. Perhaps that service is not available near you. or look here http://waldronexhaust.com/shop/index.php?cPath=61_52 Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 I read it as needing the muffler and the interconnecting piping Quote

Devendra Posted December 17, 2010 Author Report Posted December 17, 2010 Yes , you are right, not very common here to go to a muffler shop and get the need full done. I have the pipes from the manifold & just before the muffler they are altered to fit a smaller box and same carries on. Thanks anyways for your reply. Quote
