I know I've mentioned this before but now my right front door window started being hard to roll up and down. I took the panel off and found the little track wheels are broken. Anybody have a clue where to get replacements? I've got the wagon wheel looking things. I've researched and came up with nothing. There's four in each door. My rear left door glass is cracked because a couple of the wheels are broke making the window bind. I didn't want to continue the old thread thinking nobody would look. All help is much appreciated.

I have a '48 Dodge D25 (Plymouth with Dodge trim) four door parts car which still has all the glass in it. Looking at the windows in my '48 Coupe I believe it has the type of wheels you are looking for so the sedan should as well. On my car they are attached to the channel that sits at the bottom of the of the glass. They are the only ones I can see, I do not see four for each window as the glass slides up the window channels being pushed by the channel on the bottom of the glass with the wheels attached. Can you email or PM me with pictures of exactly what you are looking for. Some measurements of glass size and of the items you are looking for would help also. I don't want to go pull parts unless it is what you need as it is very cold up here right now with a lot of snow on the ground. It might take a while to get it but I am willing to try if it helps.

Thanks Robert. Take your time. I know it's cold up there so don't worry about. It's not a dire situation, I just wanted to see if anybody has any.

Thanks, Tom

Make sure you compare the diameters. I believe when I did this same comparison for a guy in our club restoring a prewar sedan the prewar ones were smaller.

Tommy,

Can you post a picture of what you have? If it's similar to what I have, I might have some extra parts lying around.

Joe, Here's a picture of a broken one I pulled out and kinda put back together.

Thanks, Tom

Ed, Mine are spoked wheels and the newer ones were solid. Diameter wise I didn't check.

OK, mine won't work as they are the solid ones. Oh well, it was worth a try.
