I know not everyone will think this is cool, but someone is having this

car built by a shop. First class work is being done. The car will be

mostly stock in appearance with certain mods including a Viper V10

engine.

Posting llink for anyone interested in looking: http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=531591

That's a neat looking build, I like the look and concept...

However...IMO, that car is too rare to do that too. It should be restored to original. Maybe they could have picked a Windsor or or something. Not a Town & Country...

Will be a fun ride. Looks like their wasnt much left to restore. Of course if you can rod it you could have restored it too. I wonder if thats the one I saw for sale way back that had 0 wood left with it. Was in a junkyard and they were still asking 15K for it.

That one appears to be completely stock......as original.

You can see another woodie or two in the background of the pics.

Guess this shop is no stranger to that type of vehicle.

at least save the tail lights and bumpers

That's the stupid scrapper way. I've seen plenty of easily restored 50s and earlier cars sent to the scrap yard  I've saved a few, like a 53 Packard I drove home. Guy was going to scrap it

Bob, the car is real cool. I am also going to run a v10 in my convertible but it's the truck version, still lots of engine for the car. CIMG0811.jpg[/img]CIMG0810.jpg[/img]
