sniggle_t Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 This truck just doesn't do it for me. Quote
Dan Babb Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 I'm not digging the wood trim and diamond plate, but it's not a bad looking truck. I think the wide tires give it a dually look. Quote
Reg Evans Posted October 30, 2010 Report Posted October 30, 2010 Too much bling. At least it doesn't have a chevy 350 under the hood. Quote
Dave72dt Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 Gate handles for armrests, a plethora of bright treadplate, and only one windshield wiper...it must not rain much in GA I didn't see a speedometer either. I think that's the radio directly in front of the driver. Too gaudy for my taste and all the diamond plate doesn't go well with a stake bed. Now if it had been a wrecker or fire pumper rear, it would've looked right. Other things I'd have done differently if mine, but it's not. Easy to pick someone else's work apart. When mine's done, you can pick it apart. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 refreshing..not once the word restored...forget the speedo (atlanta driving entails keeping up only)..remember, sooner or later you'll own generals...now is that chance... Quote
49Bseries Posted October 31, 2010 Report Posted October 31, 2010 I am also not too fond of this truck. It goes without saying that the truck is seriously over valued - but to each his own. In my experience as a Tennessean living in Georgia that diamond plate is used in the south to cover a multitude of sins... I steer clear of any body work covered by diamond plate. At that price I expect to see mint original, not bubba shade tree. I am usually not negative against other's vehicle, but an opinion was solicited ;^). OTOH I am beginning to obsess over my own truck and I am getting a ton of valuable information in this forum. Everytime I think of a question, I search and it has already been answered! Quote
