51 Fargo
Does anybody know of a place that carries a screw in wheel stud kit so I can get away from these lug bolts... some one was telling me that they have a kit out , and you use a Allen key to set the studs in your own hubs and then you can use lug nuts insted ... any one know of this kit and where I can get it .......... thanks for your help;)

51 Fargo
Just courious...why do you want to get away from them? .....48D I have a set of Vintage ET mag wheels and need longer stud length because of the wheel being thicker at the bolting flange these are for my Dads truck as well he kept the stock front axle in so this is why I need to find screw in studs
lugnut123
Get some regular press in wheel studs and push them in from the insides. You mite have to drill the threads out some but that sounds the easyest. I haven't herd of any screw in studs.

John Mathias
If you are going to a lugnut style mount, why worry about it being LH thread? Just another chance for the local tire shop, you or the next owner bring it to, to break the stud off. Haven't seen one yet to look for the LH on the stud. olddodgeguy
John, you would need the screw in replacement stud to be left hand thread so it would screw in. I think the best solution would be to just drill it out a little and install the studs as was already mentioned. Mike
John Mathias
Mike, thats what I did on mine. Caution here, alot of the ones you buy local will end up spinning. Drill out the threads first, then measure the hole dia and get slightly oversized and PRESS in place.
