RobertKB Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 To all my fellow Canadian forum members, Happy Thanksgiving! We have a lot to be thankful about. I know many US members know Thanksgiving is celebrated earlier in Canada but for those who don't, it is always the second Monday of October. Quote
55 Fargo Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours Rob, yes we all have many things to be thankful for on this date. I figure we in Canada have it a month or so earlier than the US, as our seasons for harvest are shorter, and winter comes earlier for the most part. Happy Thanksgiving to all our Canadian forum members........Fred Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Is turkey the main food item of Thanksgiving in Canada, as it is in the U.S.? Or is the menu different? Quote
40phil41 Posted October 11, 2010 Report Posted October 11, 2010 Turkey it is. Although if you get tired of Turkey then Ham is the next choice. Phil Quote
