steveplym Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Any other forum members going to be there next weekend? Show starts on Friday Aug. 27 thru Sunday. 1948 and older cars only at the show. It is a great time and very cheap. Always lots of P-15's and D-24's there. Here's their website. http://www.frogfollies.org Quote
BobT-47P15 Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 Can't get to the show, Steve. But, look forward to seeing some pics when you return home. Have fun. Quote
Plymouthy Adams Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 killer B is that it is same weekend as Charlotte swap meet..both are a long ways off but I do the Charlotte show, usually always get to see a couple friends that I normally would not get to see due to the long commute.. got a cousin who lives just down the road from there ..not sure if he attnds the FF's, will have to ask..might take the drive some day.. randroid Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 Steve, I'm not going anywhere for a while but by next year I want to take Pigiron to NC to visit relatives and gorge on seafood, and I'll try to time it to make the show. Lady Lynn loves anything to do with frogs so that's one show I should be able to talk her into attending. -Randy Quote
steveplym Posted August 24, 2010 Author Report Posted August 24, 2010 If she likes frogs she will see plenty there. Lots of cool old cars and lots of frogs. Quote
steveplym Posted August 30, 2010 Author Report Posted August 30, 2010 Just got back from the show yesterday. Uploaded all my photos and they are available for view. It was a great show as usually and weather was kind of hot, but not unbearable. Nice breeze most of the time. Enjoyed the drive over and back. Car ran great and had no problems. I met several other P-15 owners there. Met the owner of this '48 more door from south of Indy. It is a low mileage original car, has a few minor mods like OD and a 6 volt alternator. Told him about the forum and he said he would check it out. Very nice car. Went across the toll bridge at New Harmony, IN over the Wabash river. Neat old bridge, but very rough riding. Check out the rest of the pics here. http://s167.photobucket.com/albums/u122/siufan6/Frog%20Follies%202010/ Quote
Merle Coggins Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) Went across the toll bridge at New Harmony, IN over the Wabash river. Neat old bridge, but very rough riding. I'm hoping the camera operator is a little off kilter otherwise I don't think I'd want to cross that bridge. I'm gonna guess it's the camera operator since the motorcyclist in the second pic is also a bit off of plumb. Nice lookin' rides. Thanks for sharing. Edited August 30, 2010 by Merle Coggins Quote
Don Coatney Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 This car belongs to a former forum member who lives in Evansville. I met him a few years back at a local car show in Franklin, TN. Quote
Don Coatney Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 I believe this car was at the same show in Tennessee. Quote
1940plymouth Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 Thanks for sharing. I liked the looks of the '39 Plymouth with the dirty windsheild, gave it character:), not to mention the red wheels Quote
