Delivered another brde & groom to the reception....

At 6 this evening (Fri), a young couple got married at our church.

Their parents asked if we would take them to the reception hall in

the convertible.

So, I cleaned up the car, made a sign and tied on some tin cans.

The trip to the reception place was only a couple of blocks, but

everyone seemed to think the old Plym was a nice touch. (And the

food at the reception was good......some things have their rewards:D)

And, I was assisted by my beautiful co-pilot.:)

Very nice Bob. Looks like you had a lot of fun. Seems Friday weddings are getting to be more frequent then they used to be. Guess things start to book up fast on Saturdays.

You are very correct Steve. If it wasnt for a cancelation our options were friday or wait until october.

nice photos, bob!

the ragtops make great wedding cars!

i did that as a favor for a friend some years ago,

with my old black 69 opel rekord2door sedan.

he said i should drive 2 newly wed friends of him,

as a surprise...

i ended up with 2 people in the back i never met before that didn't say a

single word the whole way long... seemed just like they weren't too

happy to be married.:D

your pics look much more relaxed! ;)

Thanks guys.

It's fun to do these things from time to time.

I do try to make sure the medical part of my car insurance is

a decent amount (like 50K per person), just in case one were

to take a tumble.

One Christmas parade a few years ago (after 9-11)

I had both the local police chief and fire chief sitting up there

on the back. Makes you just a tiny bit nervous, but so far

no problems.

I drove for my sister-in-laws wedding.

Removed the passenger bucket seat so they could climb in the back.
