  1. Scanned them in two part and then used my (Freeware) GIMP photo editor to put them together.
  2. A couple more for now, the other one are buried in my sedan in storage.
  3. Life/Post Magazine ad for P15 Plymouths These are two part scans of my collection that I have mounted on card stock and 10mil laminated. I'll share more as I get them scanned. If there is any interest. Not for sale.
  4. Don't drive during winter here in Wisconsin but do get around during better weather. 1-Driving thru Metropolis IL, 2-Memphis, 3-Arrive Daytona, 4-Daytona Beach for the Turkey Run, 5-Talledega Speedway on the trip home. Also have some photos somewhere of the car at Operaland, Don Garlits museum, and in Daytona Speedway pits. 3700 mile trip, just my wife and my 48 P15, 440 powered.
  5. Consider another option - I'm using the bench seat from a regular car Dakota in my 48 Plymouth sedan delivery. Tips forward and has a center arm rest.
  6. Sedan Delivery project - 5.2 EFI Mopar motor, 5 speed manual, air ride suspension , Dakota front clip, 4-bar rear suspension
  7. You can put anything in anything. I've been running a 440 RB block in my P15 sedan since 1989. I did move the firewall back a little, upgrade the brakes, change to a rack and pinion, and an 8-3/4 rear end. But I still have stock A-arm suspension..
  8. The 270 poly motor should use the same adapter as the early hemis to allow you to use any number of transmissions including Chrysler's aluminum 727 or 904 from the A motors (273, 318, 340, 360). There are probably several companies making adapters.
  9. My car would change toe-in and toe out during the suspension travel. Once I changed to a the Cavalier rack that all went away.
  10. Drive my P15 440 powered sedan to several shows or cruises weekly from mid April thru early Nov. Drive from Wales, WI (village 1/2 hour West of Milwaukee) to Back to the 50s (St. Paul, MN) every year for the last 20 years, made a trip to Tampa's Nats SE and Daytona Turkey Run on '02 (about 3200 miles with side trips along the way) and have been to the NSRA Nationals in Louisville and Nats North in Michigan.
  11. I have had the Cavalier rack on my car since 1999. I shortened the stock steering arms which lessened the loss of steering radius. I don't think I got everything back but is very manageable. Made my own mounts but very similar to the photos above. I do have the power rack but with the 440 engine weight it works fine without any noticeable bump steer. Drive to "Back to the 50's" each year and to Florida for the SE Nationals in Tampa and the Daytona Turkey Run in 02. When people ask how it handles the 70 mph speed limit, I tell them "I can slow down to 70 if I have to."
  12. Late answer to you question - 48 Plymouth Sedan, 440 power, Yea you do have some limitations on tire size, I think a 235 is about as wide as you can get with stock frame rails and fenders.
  13. I used a Mopar "E" Body 8-3/4" Rear that bolted to the stock springs without modification. I did stack the stock u-bolt /shock mount plate between the 8-3/4 u-bolt plate and the rear end or the shock mounting. Been running it since 1989.
  14. You mean b1108 - Restoration Specialties P127 http://www.restorationspecialties.com/131525_2013_catalog.pdf
  15. Has anyone had to replace the windshield header? The interior steel for the upper windshield is rotten on my project car . The piece looks complicated enough that fabbing on would be a major challenge. A donor might be the best way to go. Anyone with experience with this?
  16. From the album: Special Deluxe Sedan

On my 2nd P15 Project, it's rotten and I need to replace.
  17. This is a swap meet generic shifter modified to always move one shifting arm forward and backward but when forced to the 2-3 gate it also moves the "modifier" arm on the transmission. (On a '54 3-speed behind a 241 Hemi.) Only tried it on the bench so far but seems to work fine.
  18. Just looking for the Ash Tray cover. The painted version.
  19. Got a Cavalier Rack on my own brackets and Power Disk Brakes I "fabbed" brackets/mounts for under $100. Running for almost 15 years now. Longest trip 3700 miles seem to work fine.
  20. Used a 8-3/4" out of an E-Body on each of my P15's with '60's 6" wide wheels.
