BobT-47P15 Posted July 21, 2010 Report Posted July 21, 2010 I recall that old General Electric commercial from the 50s or 60s....... "at G E, progress is our most important product". And it seems you are definitely making progress.......looks good. Quote
faucet47custom Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 How difficult was the FatMan Frame stub to install? Quote
chopt50wgn Posted July 22, 2010 Author Report Posted July 22, 2010 wellllllllll.......they do give you directions with it ,BUT!!! they are for a coupe not the wagon. So after tacking it into place and trying on a fender, we had the tire too far into the wheel well. We took a wheelbase measurement and found we had 112.5".....wheelbase for this all steel wagon is 111". So we had to move the whole thing back 1.5" and start over. I will say that Fatman did work with me and was a big help in getting it right along with my friend Tim who is tig welding everything. Quote
Andydodge Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 Looks nice, got any pics of the Corvette rear end in there?......nice setup..........andyd Quote

Olddaddy Posted July 22, 2010 Report Posted July 22, 2010 That is really impressive! My Suburban is my baby, but yours is light years ahead of mine, well done. I really like the rear end setup and the work done on the firewall. You are going to have one seriously nice car. Quote
